Free fall cleanup is Nov. 4-8
Put extra trash, yard waste and bulk waste to the curb, sticker-free!
The Village of Oswego's contracted waste hauler, Groot Industries, provides a clean-up day each spring and fall for Oswego residents.
From Monday, Nov. 4 through Friday, Nov. 8, Groot will collect additional household waste, yard waste and bulk items for all Village residents, on your normally scheduled garbage day, for free.
No stickers are required during free cleanup weeks, however residents must still place yard waste in the 30-gallon kraft yard waste bags. Yard waste will not be accepted in plastic bags.
Place all items, along with your regular garbage and recycling, at the curb by 6 a.m. on your normally scheduled garbage day.
Restrictions
Residents cannot put out household hazardous waste, appliances, televisions, or electronics during this collection. See the Garbage & Recycling page on the Village's website for more information about how to properly dispose of these items, including an option to have Groot collect your old electronics, right from your doorstep.
