As a fourth-generation Coloradan, my love for Colorado runs deep. Whether it’s our great outdoors, thriving small businesses, or culture of innovation, Colorado is a place that is leading the nation in so many ways. But, we still have a lot of work to do to ensure that everyone can be a part of our American Dream.

I got started as a public defender, representing civil rights cases because I wanted to help people and couldn't accept injustice when I saw it. Then, I ran for Congress because I realized that I could help even more folks in the Denver area. Since then, I haven't stopped answering the call to help our community.

In Congress, I'm committed to making the Denver area the best place for everyone. That means affordable health care, a clean environment, a safe and affordable place to live, civil rights for all, safety from gun violence, good-paying jobs, and so much more.

I proudly served as an impeachment manager to hold a lawless president accountable when I was called to serve. And I've been fighting to keep essential workers safe, pause evictions and foreclosures, expand testing and, later, vaccine manufacturing, expand support services, and keep our economy running since the pandemic began.

Now, I'm ready to keep fighting to protect hundreds of thousands of acres of public land, uphold our reproductive freedoms, strengthen our democracy, and more.
