Dear friends,
In case you missed it, we invite you to a film viewing and intimate discussion on the gun violence epidemic in America and firearms tomorrow, October 26th 6pm ET/5pm CT as we view the documentary "The Price of Freedom.
Gun violence is a public health crisis that affects the lives of thousands every year and disproportionately impacts Black and Brown communities, women, and other marginalized groups. CJAF is working to develop bold policy that prioritizes community based violence prevention strategies and builds power in communities most impacted by violence to advocate, take civic action, and advance efforts to make their communities stronger and safer. Guns Down America is dedicated to building a safer future with fewer guns by holding the gun industry accountable.
Together, we are using our collective voice to raise awareness and change the conversation about the gun violence epidemic and hope you will consider making a donation to help advance our missions as we work towards solving this problem.
I hope that you’ll tune in to watch the film and join us immediately after for a discussion with CJAF’s Executive Director, Greg Jackson, Abbey Clemments, Activist, Surviving educator of the Sandy Hook School tragedy, and Igor Volsky, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Guns Down America.
Thanks for taking action! See you there! The CJAF Team |
