Dems Are Doubling Down On $3.5 Trillion Spending Spree. I am deeply concerned -- this is a completely unprecedented deficit spending proposal and infrastructure plan. Democrats claim this bill is using “paid-for money” as funding… But you and I are both smart enough to know that NOTHING is ever fully “paid for.” Instead, the infrastructure package's “pay-fors” are either completely phony or don't quite cut the mustard. All I know is that this bill is doomed to be a budget reconciliation monstrosity. The bottom line: Infrastructure investment is not worth the debt if it’s not really paid for. We simply do not have the money, and our economy cannot handle it. Repurposing money the federal government previously wasted shouldn’t count as paid-for. This is common sense! Democrats are intentionally misleading the American people. And if we continue to believe their lies, America is headed for straight bankruptcy.
