Dear Friend,
Our webinar "Preparing for the Upcoming Supreme Court Hearing on DACA" will take place on Tuesday, October 29, at 12 p.m. PT / 1 p.m. MT / 2 p.m. CT / 3 p.m. ET.
On November 12, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in three cases related to the government's decision to end DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). This highly-awaited hearing is a pivotal step in immigrants' and advocates' response to the Trump administration's efforts to end DACA -- which would leave roughly 800,000 immigrant youth vulnerable to deportation.
Join us to hear about the potential outcomes of these cases and what you can do to show support for DACAmented youth. We will also provide information for current DACA recipients, such as about the processing and timing of DACA renewal applications.
Presenters:
Josh Stehlik, Deputy Legal Director, National Immigration Law Center
Rosa Barrientos, Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA)
Alisa Daubenspeck, Managing Attorney, Central American Resource Center (CARECEN)
We look forward to you joining us on Tuesday, October 29. You can RSVP here: >>>[link removed].
Note that we have a limited number of lines, so we encourage you to login/call in early. A link to the recording will be sent to everyone who RSVPs.
Sincerely,
Shiu-Ming Cheer
