John,
The Federal Election Commission is missing in action.
It has now been 58 days since the FEC lost its ability to enforce the nation’s campaign finance laws.
This is a serious problem that affects all Americans.
Read Meredith’s email below and join us in demanding legislation to fix the FEC and get our nation’s election watchdog working again. Sign your name to tell Congress you want them to act now to empower the FEC.
Thanks for all you do,

“Every day that the Federal Election Commission is unable to do its job, our elections remain susceptible to foreign interference and bad actors. Congress must act to make the FEC an effective watchdog that can enforce the law. Protect our elections now!”

John,
54 days.
That’s how long it’s been since the Federal Election Commission (FEC), the agency responsible for enforcing our election laws, effectively shut down due to the resignation of one of its commissioners.
With only three commissioners and no quorum, the FEC is unable to hold hearings, enforce existing rules, fine violators, conduct audits, make new rules, or move forward with investigations. And there’s been no effort by Congress or the administration to get it working again.
Add your name today to tell Congress you want our elections protected now.
And while the FEC’s been on pause, we’ve seen major stories in the news about campaign finance violations, which means our elections are susceptible to being taken advantage of while the commission isn’t working.
It’s time to give our nation’s election watchdog teeth. That’s why Issue One is pushing legislation that would make the FEC an effective agency and get it working again.
Sign now to tell Congress you want them to fix the Federal Election Commission!
Thanks for your support,
