Poynter's 2022 Leadership Academies for Women in Media |
May 15-20 | Sept. 18-23 | Dec. 4-9
Hi ,
It is time to apply for Poynter's 2022 Leadership Academies for Women in Media.
If you have participated in the past — please pay it forward! Share this email with women you believe would benefit from the experience.
If you've applied in the past, please consider applying again! We look for a rich mix of diversity across multiple areas, and the right group of women to complement your growth might be applying this year, too.
If this is your first go-around, Poynter’s Leadership Academy for Women in Media has transformed the careers of more than 450 women in news media and tech. Now in its eighth year, the program is specifically designed for women who directly manage people and are within their first 1-5 years of formal leadership experience. You'll step away from the daily grind for a week of self-discovery, career clarity and peer group support.

Location
We plan to host these programs in-person at Poynter’s campus in St. Petersburg, Florida. However, if public health guidelines require the academy to be offered completely virtually, we are confident the experience will be just as robust. To date, we have successfully hosted four online academies. Follow #PoynterWomenLeaders to see participants’ recent experience.
Cost
Tuition for the academy is $1,095. Scholarships and travel stipends are available to help defray the cost of the tuition and/or travel for those who need assistance.
