The fate of reduced prescription drug costs came down to three members of Congress, John. Representatives Scott Peters, Kurt Schrader, and Kathleen Rice all voted against giving Medicare the power to negotiate lower drug prices for consumers.
But just look at how much money they’ve received from Big Pharma:
Rep. Scott Peters (CA-52): $860,465
Rep. Kurt Schrader (OR-5): $614,830
Rep. Kathleen Rice (NY-4): $84,259

We know what happens behind closed doors. Big Pharma CEOs use big-shot lobbyists and large campaign checks to influence Congress — but the people demand to know more!
We can’t let Congress continue to do the bidding for Big Pharma — not when people are dying in this country because of corporate greed. While members of Congress get corporate kickbacks, millions of people struggle to afford their medication. That is why we need to know more. Why did Peters, Schrader, and Rice really vote against a top Democratic priority?
Will you take one minute to sign our petition urging Congress to investigate the three Democrats who voted against reducing drug prices? We need to make sure that they hear our message loud and clear!
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
