It’s official, John.
News recently broke that the Supreme Court has agreed to review the constitutionality of Texas' 6-week abortion ban, SB 8 on November 1.
SB 8 is just one example of the hundreds of laws being passed around the country in an attempt to ban abortions and limit our access to reproductive freedom.
That’s why Women’s March and our coalition partners rose up this month for a nationwide Rally for Abortion Justice to make our stance clear: No one should control our futures but ourselves.
But we knew that day was only the beginning of our fight. Fighting back against this slate of attacks is going to take millions of Women’s Marchers organizing together to make sure our rights are protected on the local and federal level — especially leading up to this critical Supreme Court hearing.
Women’s Marchers are powerful when we organize, march, and mobilize together to protect our rights and ensure the future we deserve. This is how we defeated Trump and this is how we’ll continue resisting against attacks on our feminist values.
Whatever decision is made on November 1 will have a widespread impact on all of us, so we must start preparing now.
Together,
Women’s March
