Hi,
Only one country, The Gambia, out of 192 parties is on target to
meet their goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions under the 2015
Paris Agreement. Just one country and 191 empty promises to
address the climate crisis.
In a week, EARTHDAY.ORG is attending the 2021 United Nations
Climate Change Conference (COP26) and we're demanding that world
leaders honor their commitments.
We need your help to get their attention. Add your name and we'll amplify your voice by
hand-delivering our petition at COP26.
We call on world leaders to commit once and for all to:
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the 2015 Paris
Agreement.
- Allocate significant financial resources to developing countries
to help them mitigate the effects of climate change.
- Agree to make climate literacy mandatory in their educational
systems.
- Provide substantial financial support to building the green
economy infrastructure that will help us transition from fossil
fuels.
Time is running out and and we’ve already begun to see the
devastating effects of climate change on the planet and to its people.
Words without action will no longer be
acceptable.
Sign the petition and we'll bring your voice
to the world stage.
Thanks for all you do,
Kathleen Rogers President
