Deadline extended!
Fall 2019 in Washington, DC
Applications due Sunday, July 28
The application deadline for the Speechwriters Fellowship is now midnight on Sunday, July 28

Founded in 2017, the Claremont Speechwriters Fellowship combines an education in the principles of the American Founding with a study of modern political speech craft.

Over the course of eight intensive weekly seminars, to commence in late September, fellows will engage in a theoretical and rhetorical study of current dominant political themes, such as equality, socialism, immigration, and trade.

Classes will be led by a combination of Claremont scholars and former presidential speechwriters, under the direction of former Reagan White House Speechwriter, Clark Judge.

Past fellows include speechwriters for President Donald J Trump, chief speechwriters for the Secretaries of Treasury, State, Justice, Defense, Housing and Urban Development, Environmental Protection Agency, as well as speechwriters for members of the Leadership in both the House and Senate.
