Jim Jordan loves to pander to the far right in any way he can, but his latest rant is just ridiculous. He’s upset that the DoJ is investigating threats against public officials.
For over a year, far-right Republicans like Jordan have used fear-mongering and alarmist lies to rally their supporters against masks. Now local school board officials across the country are being threatened with violence by Republicans opposing mask mandates. Instead of stepping up to protect these public officials, Jim is accusing them of curbing free speech.
I’m not surprised Jim is siding with MAGA-mob protestors over public officials. He's been turning the Republican base against school board members since the beginning of the pandemic. Jim doesn’t care that local officials are facing violent threats and intimidation because of his lies.
It’s clear where my opponent’s loyalties lie: in the fight between law enforcement and domestic terrorists, he's backing the terrorists.
I’m sick and tired of Jim playing with people’s lives for political gain. It’s unacceptable and I’m running for Congress to hold him accountable for his actions.
It’s time to fire Jim Jordan from office. We need representatives who protect our public officials against domestic terrorists, not encourage more violence. Will you chip in $500, $250, $100, $50, or even just $25 to my campaign to defeat Jordan at the ballot box?
