Below, please find a special message from one of our advertisers, Young Americans for Liberty.
Dear Friend, Cancel culture and socialism are tightening their grip on younger generations… and time is rapidly running out to save them. As you read this letter, college students are losing basic civil liberties and rights on campuses. Campus bureaucrats ban guns, censor free speech, and are now FORCING vaccinations on unwilling students. How are you and I supposed to reach young people with the message of liberty in such a hostile environment? Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) has the answer. YAL trains and mobilizes thousands of college students on over 500 campuses across the United States. The goal? To Make Liberty Win and make millions more people free. YAL is no stranger to standing up to leftist bullies. In fact, several of our students have spent the night IN JAIL for the crime of handing out the Constitution on college campuses. This fall, YAL launched our Students Rights Campaign (SRC) to combat big government on campus, oppose absurd university policies, restore student rights, and protect free speech. YAL has a proud track record on defending students’ rights and beating back tyrannical policies on campus. To date, Young Americans for Liberty has successfully repealed 76 unconstitutional free speech codes which impact 1.4 million students each year! You can click here to donate and support our efforts. And now, with this track record of success, we are broadening our scope to fight back on some other egregious campus policies that violate students’ most basic rights, including bans on pepper spray and vaccine and mask mandates! Let me tell you how one of our top student activists is challenging a ban on pepper spray at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. YAL leader Devon McVey learned not only did his college campus ban firearms from campus but they barred students from carrying pepper spray for self defense! He decided to take action by recruiting sororities to call the college President and pressure her to repeal the policy. Soon, dozens of angry women students called the President’s office to DEMAND answers and a full repeal of the policy. That’s when the President called Devon and expressed her anger for allegedly “spreading false rumors of a ban on pepper spray”... The college President didn’t even know the ban existed. Devon simply showed her the campus’s policy and explained why so many students were upset about the ban on a basic right to self defense. Since then, Devon and his peers have gathered 500 signatures to repeal the policy, and are actively putting pressure on the administration. Devon is not the only brave student fighting for liberty on college campuses. Dylan Dean, YAL’s top student activist in Montana, is leading the fight against mask mandates. Montana State University blindsided students by enacting a mask mandate the day after they stated no requirement would be enforced. Dylan sprung into action and led a student protest and collected over a thousand student signatures demanding the university repeal the mandate. In response, campus staff called him a “stupid f**k,” while others called him a “selfish idiot,” an “ignorant a**hole,” and a “hoser” (Canadian slang for loser) over the school email server. The list goes on. Soon, Dylan’s protest received national media coverage and now campus administrators are doing everything they can to avoid accountability and attention. That’s when three members of YAL’s Legislator Coalition decided to provide backup. Three state representatives in YAL’s coalition wrote a letter to the University demanding they repeal the mask mandate and reprimanded the administration, faculty, and staff for creating a hostile environment for the students. The best part? These state legislators were all 30 years of age or younger! Caleb Hinkle (HD-68) happens to be a former YAL chapter leader. And Mallerie Stromswold (HD-50) became the youngest woman elected in America last year at age 19. Real progress takes teamwork and one of the things that makes YAL unique is that our students and legislators are able to work together on a regular basis to take a stand against absurd policies on campus and at state capitals. Lastly, we’re actually seeing students THREATENED WITH ARREST if they don’t get the vaccine! Gabby Reichardt, a student at Colorado State University, recently appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss the insane measures the school is taking. We live in troubling times. Friend, as you may know, YAL's student activists are the best in the nation at Making Liberty Win. I am counting on your support to empower these students and fund the Student Rights Campaign. My goal is to raise $150,000 to support this program. Can I count on your support? Please click here to donate $20.22, $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1,000. $250 sponsors a Student Rights Campaign activism kit and petition drive, $500 sponsors a student rally, and $1,000 helps sponsor a campus lawsuit. The future of our Republic is relying on you and I to teach the next generation about the ideas of liberty before we lose our country to socialism. What happens if we fail to act? Cancel culture, big government, and radical leftists win and set our country down a path of socialism, indefinite lockdowns, and censorship. What’s the newest threat on college campuses? Vaccine mandates. Rutgers University has even barred a student from enrolling in ONLINE classes because he declined to get vaccinated. YAL believes students should be able to make their own medical decisions without a campus bureaucrat interfering. That’s why Sara Razi, our chapter leader at Rutgers, has held TWO massive rallies on her campus to challenge these COVID mandates. Student activists are mobilizing across the country to defy Joe Biden and vaccine mandates on college campuses. YAL chapters are collecting petitions to repeal the policies that violate their basic rights. The best part about the Students Rights Campaign? These battles on college campuses are igniting the flames of liberty in the hearts and minds of students. Students love to fight for a cause. I am thrilled to report the Students Rights Campaign has helped YAL recruit new students to the cause of liberty in unprecedented numbers. Imagine a tidal wave of THOUSANDS of new student activists fighting for liberty, protesting vaccine mandates, and changing the culture on campus in favor of liberty. You and I can create lasting change for liberty. This is an URGENT call to action: Please help me raise $150,000 to fund the Students Rights Campaign before time runs out.
