Too often in detention, trans and HIV-positive migrants are denied care, harassed, or assaulted. Three trans women living with HIV have died under ICE's watch. Earlier this month, a Venezuelan man living with HIV died in immigration detention.

We must do everything in our power to ensure these patterns of abuse end once and for all. Later this week, we will join Familia: Trans Queer Liberation Movement to support trans and HIV-positive migrants who continue to face abuse, cruelty, detention, and deportation at the hands of ICE.
