Last week, Republicans blocked the Freedom to Vote Act, and made the choice to not protect the integrity of our democracy just days before the upcoming 2021 elections.

This legislation would expand access to the ballot box, ensure every American can request mail-in ballots, register to vote on Election Day, and fairly participate in our electoral process.

To be clear, it’s all of the things Republicans are afraid of... easier and more equal access to the ballot.

When no Republicans voted in favor of this bill, they made it clear that they’re not concerned with saving our democracy. On the contrary, they are interested in weakening our electoral system because they think it’s the only way they can win.

It’s shameful, but here’s what we can do right now:
