Hello John,

My name is Robert Anthony Peters, and I have the pleasure of serving as the Vice Chairman of the Fully Informed Jury Association. Today, though, I am writing to you as a fellow FIJA supporter and donor.

When I read stories day after day of people's lives being unnecessarily destroyed by a legal system run amok, I despair. It is when reading about lives saved by heroic jurors who have the courage and wisdom to render just verdicts, regardless of the law, that I take heart and know that we are progressing as humans.

Contributing to FIJA is one of the most important things I do to promote justice and well being for my fellow man.

Donations to FIJA have been slow in these last few weeks—that is quite understandable given the uncertain times we are living in. But your donation is necessary right now to reach FIJA’s Fall Fundraiser goal of $10,000 and continue the fight to ensure fully informed juries for all!

With all the work ahead to restore jury rights—not just as they were pre-pandemic but as they were originally intended in safeguarding all of our other rights against government overreach and abuse—this is no time to slow down.

So John, will you chip in $10, $25, $50, or another amount of your choice now to help us catch up on our Fall Fundraising goal?

Just a little more than $2800 will bump the total up to 50%—simply click this button to help catch up before the end of the week:

Despite a significant drop in contributions in the midst of the pandemic, FIJA has remained unflinchingly committed not to accept any government funding—no government loans, no government grants, not one dime taken from taxpayers and redistributed under the CARES Act or other government programs. We feel this is important to remain steadfastly independent in our support of autonomous juries.

The consequence of that, however, has been that all of FIJA’s work nationwide since the start of the pandemic has been conducted on a shoestring budget of significantly less than $50,000 annually. This is impacting FIJA’s capacity to provide the critical resources, training, programs, etc. necessary to fight back against the government’s underhanded cancellation of jury rights during the pandemic—and beyond it into the so-called "new normal".

The good news is that with such a small annual budget, your contribution of any amount makes a BIG DIFFERENCE!

To allow FIJA to continue to focus as much as possible on juror rights education rather than spending more time on fundraising, can I count on you, John, to make your donation today?

You can ensure the work of restoring jury rights and creating more fully informed jurors continues uninterrupted by making your donation online at this secure link:

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Fully Informed Jury Association, THANK YOU for your unwavering friendship and support!

In gratitude and warm friendship,

Robert Anthony Peters
Vice Chairman
Fully Informed Jury Association

P.S.  If you are able to make a monthly donation, it would really help keep the focus on FIJA’s educational mission through leaner seasons like this one. To do that, simply go to the Fall Fundraiser page ([link removed]), select the amount you wish to donate each month, and click in the field below that to enter your name. When you do, additional fields will appear, including a checkbox you can select to make your donation monthly. Again, THANK YOU for your support!
