Washington Examiner: 'I don't give a damn!': Trump GOP challengers clash over impeachment

While all candidates agreed that the best path forward for the Republican Party and the country was to have Trump out of office, former South Carolina Gov. Sanford suggested that the most effective measure would be to avoid impeachment...

"I don't give a damn how impeachment plays politically!" Walsh exclaimed in response to whether moving forward with impeachment was likely to end Trump's presidency. "You do what's right!"

Joe Walsh, who is running for president as a Republican in an effort to oust President Trump, said he'd consider putting a Democrat on the ticket.

'I think post-Trump it's going to take extraordinary steps to try and unify this country, maybe even a Republican presidential nominee and a Democrat vice presidential candidate, along with them,' Walsh said at Politicon Saturday.

Nashville Tennessean: 'Never Trump' GOP presidential candidate Joe Walsh says Republicans should consider a Democratic running mate

"Never Trump" Republican presidential challenger Joe Walsh said his party nominee should consider choosing a Democrat as a running mate as a way to unify the country.

"Post-Trump, it's going to take extraordinary steps to try and unify this country," Walsh said. "Maybe even a Republican presidential nominee and a Democrat vice presidential candidate, along with them."
