SUSTAIN OUR EFFORTS FOR FAIR MAPS AND ELECTIONS »
John -- In states like Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina, we’re facing uphill battles in the fight for fair maps -- and fair maps go hand-in-hand with fair elections.
While demanding accountability during redistricting, our team hasn’t taken our eyes off of the fight to protect the right to vote. We’ve been working to pressure Congress to pass federal voting rights legislation like the Freedom to Vote Act and John Lewis VRAA.
Will you make a one-time donation of $20.31 to support our movement so we don’t have to wait until maps are drawn again in 2031 to make a difference on voting rights and fair maps? You can also make a donation of any amount below!

It sounds like John Oliver understands what we mean when we talk about the threats facing our nation.
In one of his recent segments on “Last Week Tonight,” John Oliver critiqued the conservative majority on the Supreme Court for two rulings that helped undermine the 1965 Voting Rights Act. So far, at least 19 states have enacted 33 laws that make it harder to vote this year.
Oliver essentially says the Shelby County decision coupled with the Brnovich ruling was a one-two punch to voting rights -- helping bolster widespread state-level efforts by the GOP to pass voter restriction laws.
Ending gerrymandering and protecting our elections by passing federal voting rights legislation like the Freedom to Vote Act are two steps we can take now to make our democracy fair.
Your support is instrumental in making sure we help pass voting rights legislation and end gerrymandering as states draft and finalize their maps right now! Can we count on your support?
