Check this out if you’re enjoying Ridley Road as much as we are.Hi John,
Have you been watching Ridley Road? The programme tells the story of the 62
Group, a collection of anti-fascists who stood up against the rising neo-Nazi
movement in Britain after World War Two. It follows twenty-year old Vivien
Epstein who arrives in London in the summer of 1962 and joins the fight against
resurgent fascism in East London, where members of the Jewish community are
taking to the streets in and around Ridley Road.
The HOPE not hate team have really enjoyed watching Ridley Road and some of us
are lucky enough to have known many of the real 62 Group.
We were so inspired by the story that we decided to launch a new range of
t-shirts - using the iconic quote from Soly Malinovsky, played by Eddie Marsan
in the show - which is now available to order from the HOPE not hate shop. You can get yours here
