Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Calls Special Session to Ban Vaccine Mandates

As thousands of Texans could face possible termination under President Joe Biden’s COVID vaccine mandate, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is taking action, calling a special session of the state’s legislature to pass legislation banning COVID vaccine mandates.
Meanwhile, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has said there is “no need” for a special session at this time.
