There’s a silent crisis going on that we don’t talk about enough. Though you can’t see it, it’s crucial to building healthy and resilient communities. We’re talking about mental health. Throughout the world, people are struggling with deteriorating mental health and loneliness amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. So our teams decided to get creative in addressing this crisis. In Lebanon, we worked with local organizations to create a digital campaign that spoke honestly about the uncertain and emotional experience we’re all living through. Using videos and social media posts, we showed people all over Lebanon that they’re not alone in their struggles. These messages resonated deeply with community members and reminded them of the importance of taking care of their mental health.
Our video series helped community members in Lebanon build connection during an unprecedented time: "It’s so important because it gave us a sense of humanity."
