When we say that this grassroots, people-powered campaign wouldn't be the same without you — we mean it John, because you are the "people" of "people-powered". Each and every member of Team Bowman makes this campaign and our movement what it is today.
From the time he announced his intent to run for office to now, Jamaal has never accepted a single cent from dark money interests, like lobbyists or corporate PACs — because he doesn't answer to whoever can cut the biggest checks. He answers to the people of New York's 16th District, and works to deliver results for working families and communities.
And amidst the many challenges that we'll face in the coming months, keeping Jamaal in Congress may perhaps be our biggest challenge yet; there's already one challenger in the race that officially filed to run — and there's likely to be more. That's why we have to do everything we can to show that our movement isn't going anywhere.
