Demanding answers John, I believe that our government has a responsibility to keep politics separate from justice. This week, I reminded Attorney General Merrick Garland of that exact point, when he testified in front of Congress on the role of the DOJ in the Biden administration. With Merrick Garland's DOJ, two things have come up in the past few months that should be deeply concerning to all Americans. First, reports that the investigation into Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and the Clinton Foundation would have be concerned about pressure from the top, or even be shut down by the DOJ. I called Merrick Garland out at the hearing, and confirmed – straight from the Attorney General – that Special Counsel Durham's investigation will be proceeding and funded. Second, I brought up concerns that parents across our country are being targeted by the DOJ for their political – their conservative – concerns at local School Board meetings. I think we all agree that no one should be above the law. I will continue holding Merrick Garland's feet to the fire, the DOJ, and the full federal government accountable to the people of this country. Thanks, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald
