John -- Both state-level Republicans AND national Republicans are showing us that they're willing to rely on gerrymandering to cheat their way to power.

In states like Georgia, Ohio, and Texas, GOP politicians are forcing through appalling maps -- maps that ignore population growth in Black and brown communities, crack and pack cities and surrounding areas, and pave the way for unearned Republican majorities in legislatures and Congress.

And on the national level, Senate Republicans are giving those map manipulators cover by obstructing the Freedom to Vote Act.

The battle against gerrymandering has to be fought on multiple levels, and I'm going to tell you how we at the NDRC are doing that. But first, will you rush an URGENT donation to help us fight?

Here's the plan:

» Despite Republican obstruction in the Senate, we are continuing to support the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act as hard as we can, including by running a SIX-FIGURE ad campaign.

» And we are on the ground fighting against Republican gerrymandering in states across the country, from Texas to Ohio and North Carolina.
