Dark money has too much influence over our elections, friend.

What exactly is dark money? Dark money is unlimited amounts of money raised and spent by organizations — who do not disclose their donors — to influence elections.

This means if big corporations — like Big Oil, Big Pharma, Wall Street, etc. — do not like what a politician is doing, they can spend unlimited sums of money attacking them.

We fought incredibly hard to flip GA-07 blue in 2020. We organized, knocked on doors, and talked to voters so they knew I was the candidate for the job.

Now, we’re back at the ballot box in 2022, and nothing can change the fact that Republicans have their eyes — and their checkbooks — focused on defeating me.

Rather than win over the hearts and minds of voters, they are calling on their dark money friends to spend millions to attack me. Then, when they have the majority in Congress, you can guarantee that we will never see true campaign finance reform.
