Last week, our team sent out an email (see below) letting you know about our goal of having 1,000 individual contributions by the end of the month. Here’s where we are: Since we emailed you, we’ve reached 900 individual donations. That means we still need 100 donations before Friday.

It’s important to us that our campaign is people-powered. It means we’re accountable to you, not some corporation or special interest. It’s time to change this District, and we need your help to do it.

Good news: with your help, we exceeded our quarterly goal at the end of last month. Here’s a little more insight on what reaching that number really looks like:
- So far, this campaign has received 871 individual donations
- The average online donation was $56.15
- $0 from corporate PACs or lobbyists
These numbers mean that a lot of people were inspired to chip in what they could to build something together, from the ground up. We’re funded by contributions from regular people who want to see change in our region— not big, corporate donors who want to buy influence.
