Republican legislators in North Carolina have been openly gerrymandering maps -- cracking and packing districts without giving voters a chance to weigh in.
Texas legislators sent gerrymandered legislative and congressional maps to Governor Abbott’s desk for his signature.
Wisconsin’s legislature dropped maps without holding a single public hearing.
And this all happened while Republicans in Congress obstructed the Freedom to Vote Act. That’s not an accident.

If we pass the Freedom to Vote Act, every congressional map will need to pass a partisan gerrymandering test before it can be used in an election. That’s why the GOP is desperate to manipulate maps and obstruct democracy reforms.
Just look at what is happening in Wisconsin. Republican legislators completely ignored the maps proposed by the People’s Maps Commission and proposed nearly the same map that Scott Walker signed as governor in 2011 -- they are doubling down on their already gerrymandered districts!
All On The Line is advocating for fair maps in places like North Carolina and Wisconsin, where Republicans are committed to locking in gerrymandered districts for another decade -- but we know we can’t let our foot off the gas when fighting for democracy.
We could use your help. Can you help us end this week on a high note by making a donation to All On The Line?
