Liberals have spent decades telling Black Americans that only Democrats can save them. For generations, socialist Democrats have been keeping Black America down, telling us to sit down, shut up, and just vote for them.

I’m Jerry Ford and I’m running for Congress as a black man who is a retired assistant fire chief, small business owner, and concerned citizen. I’m not some career politician who creates more problems than he solves. I’m someone who can be trusted to apply real life community experience to the mess that is Congress.

As a business owner, I have created jobs, employed real Americans, and I know what it means to meet payroll so my employees can provide for their families. Being embedded in the community means I speak and interact with citizens every day; I hear their concerns and I now stand ready to address them.

If elected, progressives are going to hate me, and America will be better off for it. I won't be welcomed by the left-leaning Congressional Black Caucus, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I will expose the Liberal lies and Make Black Lives Better! Maxine Waters, AOC and their misguided cronies may try to shout me down, but I’ll never back down!

My life story is proof that the American Dream is obtainable, and I want to counter the left’s narrative that only government is the answer. My candidacy is focused on these principles and my desire to restore our great conservative values for all Americans.
