Keeping the GOP out of power will be crucial for major policy issues like climate, economic justice, and democracy reform

Last week, we launched Give No Ground, our big plan to prevent insurrectionist Republicans from taking control of the House and Senate by defending essential Democratic seats in targeted races nationwide.

Today, we’re going to ask for your support to fund this program. Here’s why:

  • We’re defending narrow margins in both houses of Congress, and keeping Republicans out of power will be crucial to continue winning on major policy issues like climate, economic justice, and democracy reform.

  • To win, it’s going to take all the tactics we have available: building toolkits, hosting voter contact programs like phonebanking and textbanking, supporting local groups’ events in target districts, and building a winning strategy with meaningful input from the grassroots.

  • All that work costs us money -- the tech tools, the web hosting, the ads and recruitment, the event supplies, and more. And grassroots donors like you are who makes it all possible, since we don’t take money from political parties or corporations.

This program is one of our biggest priorities for 2022, and we’ll be doing everything it takes over the next year to win and defend the House and Senate majorities. That means ongoing support is going to be crucial to ensure we can respond to every twist and turn of another pivotal election year.
