As conservatives, we cannot afford to take the 2022 midterm election for granted. I know the numbers look good for us, but we have learned in recent years that no electoral outcome is a sure bet. What's more, Nancy Pelosi is breaking records with her fundraising. We need to compete fiercely.

Today, Democrats control the House, Senate, and White House, giving them unchecked power to advance a radical, liberal agenda. It's been an all-out push to pass amnesty, inflation-inducing spending, and socialist programs.

That's why I'm contacting you. The margins for victory are thin. We can't afford to lose in even a single congressional district. With your help, I'm confident we can win.

CONTRIBUTE TO FIRE PELOSI

I was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I worked my way through college. By age 20, I had to put my education on hold to fulfill my duty to my country, just like my family did before me.

I was deployed to the Middle East with the United States Marine Corps. A Lance Corporal with the 3rd Force Recon Company, I left Cherry Point, North Carolina, on Christmas Eve 1990, landing in Saudi Arabia on Christmas that year.

I turned 21 in the desert with my fellow Marines days before the beginning of the ground offensive. We were up against the world's fourth largest army at that time - an army led by a ruthless, anti-American dictator: Saddam Hussein. Our unit was prepared for anything, from taking on the elite troops of Saddam's army to biological and chemical attacks. The quick and decisive victory over our enemies was a testament to the strength and character of our allies and U.S. forces.

After the first Gulf War, I finished my degree in accounting and went to work. Whether manning oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico or working as a Department of Defense contractor in the Balkans and central Asia, I know the value of hard work and have never been afraid of an uphill battle. Eventually, I returned to my beloved home state of Mississippi and built my own small business from the ground up, a CPA practice focused on patriotic Americans working overseas. I don’t just talk about job creation; I have been a job creator.

And still despite all that was going on, I served. After the September 11 terrorist attacks, I was sent to Camp Shelby in Mississippi, where I worked in direct support of the training and mobilizing the troops who were deploying for Operation Enduring Freedom. To this day, I am proud to be a member of the Mississippi National Guard.

I am also a proud father to three amazing children, which ultimately was what got me into politics. I wanted a better world for my kids than the one I saw unfolding in front of my eyes. I knew big-government spending and a rising national debt crisis would cripple the economy and make it difficult for our kids to find good jobs. I couldn’t sit by and allow that to happen.

In 2010, I took on a 20-year incumbent Democrat - a man who was considered unbeatable - and won. Over the last 10 years, I have fought against President Obama's tax hikes and helped President Trump roll back crippling regulations. I have made our national security my top priority because I know what our enemies look like. I also have prioritized border security in my role on Homeland Security Appropriations because BORDER SECURITY IS NATIONAL SECURITY. As we have seen in Afghanistan and at our borders recently, nothing has been as consistently disastrous as the Biden Administration.

As a Marine and a patriot, I am sickened by what happened in Afghanistan. I fear for our economy when looking at the socialist policies Democrats are now considering. And I worry for our children who are growing up in schools that have replaced math, science, and history with Critical Race Theory and discussions on gender.
