In the restaurant business, there’s one thing you can count on, and that’s uncertainty. Whether it’s a delayed shipment or an unexpected dinner rush, you’ve got to be ready for anything. But nothing could’ve prepared us for a pandemic that made gathering in person a dangerous proposition.

Our world changed with the arrival of COVID-19. Suddenly thousands of Minnesotans saw their lives completely upended and didn’t know what would come next in this new world. 

It’s times like these when you need people to step up and lead – and that’s exactly what Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan did.

They followed the science, listened to the public health experts, and made necessary decisions to keep Minnesotans safe. They fought for economic assistance to make sure workers and small businesses had the lifelines they needed to weather the storm, and they made sure that when the vaccine was ready, it got to Minnesotans quickly.

There’s more work to do, but Minnesota is on the path to coming back stronger than ever. That’s why I’m asking you to join me in becoming a Founding Donor to Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan’s re-election campaign today.

While we can’t predict the future, it’s clear we’d be facing a scary one if any of the Governor’s far-right opponents win in 2022. We can’t afford to have anti-science, anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists leading our state.
