We’re proud to present your favorite newsletter, JD’s Top Hits!
We are grateful for the positive feedback we’ve received on these bi-weekly updates. We hope they continue to be a helpful resource throughout JD’s campaign!
Thank you always for your support, we couldn’t do this without you!
Now, here are some breaking numbers.
POSITIVE POLLS. A poll released this week shows JD surging in the polls and closing the gap against the competition, as reported by Breitbart.
“Vance, who was at six percent in April, has seen a double-digit increase to 16 percent. This puts Vance within striking distance of Mandel if Vance maintains the same momentum.”
Newsmax said that the primary race is shaping up as JD surges.
ELECTION TRUTH. JD penned an op-ed alongside Arizona U.S. Senate candidate Blake Masters calling out Mark Zuckerberg for rigging the 2020 election. It says, in part:
“Suggesting that anything went wrong in the 2020 election draws immediate scorn from every institutional power center in our country. The media will label you a conspiracy theorist. Public officials will accuse you of abetting “insurrection.” Social media giants will censor your speech.
“But the only way to fight back against the people who run things in our country is to tell the truth. And the simple truth is that in 2020 our oligarchs used their power and money to do everything they could to steal an election.”
FRONT PAGE. JD made the front page of the Mt. Vernon News while he made a campaign stop in the area this week! Make sure to read about his top issues that he discussed with the paper here.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR GRACIOUS SUPPORTERS!
OUTRAISING THE FIELD. JD outraised the entire GOP field in his first fundraising quarter with $1.75 million, as first reported by Fox News. Our campaign also received contributions from more than 7,500 unique donors and from 86 out of Ohio’s 88 counties. Our grassroots appeal also surged as more than half of our donors contributed $50 or less.
FOX & FRIENDS. JD joined the Fox & Friends crew last week to talk about AG Merrick Garland’s upheaval against parents.
“We’ve got skyrocketing opioid abuse rates. We’ve got murder rates in all of our big cities going through the roof and Merrick Garland has basically decided that the real threat to our republic is moms and dads who care about the education of their children,” said Vance.
POLITICAL OUTSIDER. In a new op-ed, Newsmax’s Steve Cortes says that JD’s political outsider, “true America First populist nationalist” campaign most aligns with working-class Ohioans. Cortes, in part, said:
“Outsider J.D. Vance is the candidate most clearly espousing working-class values. Vance has also never run for office before, but his seminal autobiography, “Hillbilly Elegy,” perfectly captured the travails of the declining working class in Appalachia and the Rust Belt. Though non-political, this book exposed the trauma inflicted upon Americans who once formed the backbone of U.S. industrial might. Vance focused on the communities hollowed out by the offshoring of jobs, the rise of the welfare state, and the plague of opioids and other drugs pouring through porous borders.”
TAX THE ENDOWMENTS. JD published an op-ed in Newsweek explaining the outrageous tax benefits that foundations and endowments receive while they push a progressive, Left-wing agenda on the rest of us.
In part, JD wrote:
“These organizations do more than directly finance left-wing social justice advocacy. They're one of the primary reasons so many of our business and financial institutions have joined the Left in the culture wars. In my business, among the largest sources of investment capital are these very foundations and endowments. Friends of mine have had to fill out long "diversity" questionnaires to ensure their business is properly committed to the tenets of critical race theory, or else risk losing business. Recently, Harvard's endowment began tying its money to various environmental benchmarks, making it hard for companies to get investment capital unless they wave the flag of climate activism. Gone is the Left of old, dedicated to fighting "the man" in the name of
the working class. The new Left has decided it's easier to do business with him.”
THE INGRAHAM ANGLE. JD joined Fox News’ Laura Ingraham to discuss how American workers should fight back and refuse vaccine mandates.
OUTSIDER PERSPECTIVE. JD sat down with the Greenville Daily Advocate while he was in Darke County to talk about the problems he sees facing our country and his plans to make Ohioans lives better.
“We have a crazy southern border, allowing a lot of drugs and a lot of crime coming into our communities. We have companies that do business with the communist Chinese and ship jobs overseas, and we increasingly have American school children that are taught to hate their own country. I think it’s time to get rid of the career politicians and the people who spend their entire lives caught up in Washington, D.C.,” said Vance.
IN MT. VERNON. JD made a campaign stop in Mt. Vernon and had the chance to speak with everyone there.
IN AKRON. JD enjoyed speaking with local business leaders and Republican voters in Akron!
PANCAKE BREAKFAST. JD attended the 22nd annual pancake breakfast hosted by the Northeast Hamilton County Republican Club and had the chance to speak with a huge crowd of voters.
IN DOVER. JD met with voters in Dover, and a great supporter stopped by just tell JD that he is 100% behind him!
