One of Governor Holcomb’s commitments to Hoosiers when he first ran for
governor was to improve rural broadband access. He campaigned on it and it
continues to be a major component of his Next Level Agenda. 

 

And when the pandemic hit and remote work and learning became prevalent, the
need for affordable, accessible high-speed  internet access became even
greater. Thankfully, the governor has been working on this issue since day one. 

 

He knows that now more than ever, it’s critical that ALL Hoosiers have access
to reliable, high-speed internet service – whether that’s for health care,
education, commerce, and so much more.

 

And this week he announced the third round of Next Level Connections Broadband
Grant Program. This round  received more than 250 letters of intent asking for
support and requesting funds.

 

This most recent wave of demand represents almost $900 million in potential
new broadband investment in nearly every county in the state.

 

Governor Holcomb’s administration will continue to work diligently to expand
broadband access for all Hoosiers.

Level Connections program.
