We need your help. [[link removed]] Virginia’s Election Day is November 2nd—just 9 days away. Polls show the races for Governor and Lt. Governor are too close for comfort. Several state house seats are also very close. We can’t let the Trumpites take over Virginia. That’s why we need you to volunteer with us and get the vote out in VA.



The Feminist Majority Equality Political Action Committee has endorsed the Democratic team of Terry McAuliffe for Governor, Hala Ayala for Lt. Governor, and Mark Herring for Attorney General because they are fighters for equality, reproductive rights, reducing climate change, and gun control.



Here’s the story: In 2017, Democrats won the Governor’s Office, LT. Governor and Attorney General, a majority of the VA Senate and almost a majority of the VA House. In 2019, Democrats finally won a majority of the House seats, flipping Virginia from Red to Blue.



But now Trump clones are fighting for the top statewide jobs and a majority of the House seats.

With the Democrats in control in 2020, the Equal Rights Amendment was ratified after 50 years — yes, 50 years of hard work, abortion trap laws were repealed, Virginia finally became a pro-reproductive rights state, Medicaid expansion was passed, and commonsense gun reform — a package of six different gun control measures — was passed. The list goes on.



But in the 2021 elections all of this could be reversed. The races for Governor and Lt Governor are too close for comfort. Trump supporters who are anti-reproductive rights, against gun control, deny climate change, and more, are running. The Republican Lt. Governor candidate wants a Texas-like abortion ban, and the Gubernatorial candidate ran because Trump inspired him. Do I need to say more?



We need your help: please volunteer to get out the vote to help Virginia stay Blue [[link removed]] and to defeat a Republican return to power that will risk all of the progress we’ve made in Virginia these last few years. We can’t go back!
