John,
Thousands of workers across the country are striking and using their collective power to bargain for better pay, better conditions, and a better working environment. Workers from Kellogg’s and John Deere are striking so their demands are met. The pandemic has shone a shining light on the hazardous, insufficient conditions that workers across the country have been exposed to for years.
Workers are fighting back, and are being met with hostility. Some corporations, like General Motors, are threatening to drop the healthcare coverage of striking workers. They are threatening workers’ livelihoods to stop collective bargaining and halt any progress being made in negotiations.
Representative Cuellar has shown his anti-labor, anti-worker record. He voted NO on the PRO Act, and has been the only Democrat to vote against labor laws. For too long, workers in TX-28 have gone without a voice in Washington to champion the issues that affect their daily lives. Jessica is ready to work with unions to make sure South Texas workers have a seat at the table in Congress.
Jessica is running a campaign because she knows what is at stake for workers and their families. She will fight for working families in Congress. If you are ready for change, please contribute any amount you are able today.

There is a historic wave of labor strikes across the country. And we must urge corporations to do what’s right for their workers. Everyone deserves a safe workplace, better pay, and Congress must act now to add protections for workers and working families.
The work is hard, but we know that we can elect Jessica to Congress and fight for the working families of this country.
Let’s do this.
