CNN: “Supreme Court lets Texas 6-week abortion ban stay in place and will hear oral arguments November 1”
John, the future of abortion access in Texas — and possibly the country — is hanging by a thread. The Supreme Court is now just days away from hearing arguments on Texas’s anti-abortion law — meanwhile, most abortions in the state are still illegal and Texas has outright asked the Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Frankly, with judges like Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett on the Supreme Court, we can’t count on SCOTUS to protect abortion access. We need a strong leader like Val, a doctor who specialized in women’s health and knows what’s at stake, in the U.S. Senate to protect and expand reproductive rights.
Will you rush in a donation of any amount to send Val to the Senate to defend abortion access in this critical moment?

Val’s background working with patients making tough decisions about their pregnancies sets her apart in this field, and she will be one of the strongest voices on these issues. She’s sat down with so many patients, like those who made the choice to terminate a pregnancy, and women who decided to continue their pregnancies, sometimes at risk to their lives.
Val knows that these decisions belong between an individual and their doctor — and will do everything she can to protect that sacred relationship. She also knows it’s only a matter of time before Republican-controlled legislatures, like in Pennsylvania, go after the full range of reproductive care and try to wipe out access to safe, legal abortion altogether — this year alone we’ve seen the highest number of abortion restrictions enacted in a single year.
We can’t trust the Supreme Court to protect abortion rights. We have to send Val to the Senate, expand our Senate majority, and codify Roe v. Wade to make sure politicians don’t get in the way of deeply personal decisions.
Please, rush a contribution of any amount you can so Val can win this race and go to the mat to protect and expand reproductive rights.
