Per university guidelines, issued by CSU President Joyce McConnell, students are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination or request an exemption through a student portal online.
Those who are exempt from the widespread vaccine mandate are subjected to burdensome requirements, including screenings twice a week.
Worse yet, whether vaccinated or not, all students are required to wear masks on campus.
Now, the school is targeting just a handful of unvaccinated students without an exemption with the looming threat of arrest and a complete ban from campus property–even though CSU is a public school, making it an open campus by law.
This policy is illegal. It’s draconian. It’s not backed by science. And it’s happening at schools across America. We can’t stand for it!

Students have a right to determine for themselves whether they will take this vaccine. They shouldn’t be forced to expose their medical history as a requirement to get an education.
And they CERTAINLY shouldn’t be arrested for being on public property while being unvaccinated!

CSU is threatening tuition-paying students with arrest for making personal medical decisions--arrest, by the way, for trespassing on public property, which is NOT A CRIME!
And, of course, if a student is vaccinated and happens to spread COVID-19 on campus, there are no consequences.
The irony in all this is that according to CSU’s COVID-19 website, 87.5% of students are already vaccinated for COVID-19, and 84.9% of faculty are vaccinated as well. This figure is well above the commonly accepted threshold for herd immunity in the science community (for context, the threshold for vaccination or exposure to polio to reach herd immunity is 80%).
This is not about vaccines. It’s not about health. It's about control.
We’ve arrived at a point in American culture where leftists are hell-bent on destroying people’s education, relationships, and reputations in the name of compliance with mob rule.
When will enough be enough? When every unvaccinated student is arrested? When they’re prosecuted? When they are forbidden from seeking employment?
And if colleges are allowed to impose these burdensome mandates on their students, how long before the government starts knocking on our doors and asking us for proof of vaccination?
