Democrats can't seem to say a single bad thing about China.
The latest example: this week Biden's Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said, "You know, we’ve got a global problem and China is a big contributor to that — we are, too...we don’t have much moral authority to say you should be doing this if we are not taking action and deploying the technology that we need to deploy.”
Does America have the moral high ground against China? YES.
And here's why:
In 2019, China's carbon emissions exceeded those of the United States + all other developed nations.
China's total carbon emissions: 27%
United States: 11%
Since 2005, the U.S. has reduced its carbon emissions by 758,000,000 metric tons. No other country comes close to that number and it's an even larger reduction than the entire European Union combined.
What happened to China's carbon emissions during that same time period? Increased by 3 BILLION metric tons.
Americans absolutely have the moral authority to expect China to reduce its carbon emissions. More importantly - why is the Biden Administration defending a country that engages in modern day slavery?
Since Day One, the entire Biden agenda could be summed up as America Last, China First. Whether it's destroying our energy industry, crushing the American economy, or the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal - China wins and America loses.
I’m going on offense to tell Joe to stop his America Last, China First agenda.
Will you help me?
