This week, I had the opportunity to chair a major hearing on scientific integrity in the federal government.
A number of issues were on my mind: climate change, the Flint water crisis, medical care, Trump's proposed cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency, and so much more.
As a representative, it is my duty, my privilege, and my honor to put the issues that are on your mind at the forefront of what I do. My team and I travel all across the district, hosting neighborhood coffees and attending events both large and small, so I can hear from as many of you as possible.
But no matter how many events we host and attend, I know not everyone is able to attend. But you still deserve to be heard and listened to.
