Pouring thousands of more funds into APD's already racially institutionaled culture will only increase the racial disparaties among black & brown bodies. We will dive more into No Way Prop A and discuss updates on the third legislative session.

Dance Away Detention Participatory Defense is a program for us to walk alongside members of the community and support them as they navigate systems of power. We at Grassroots Leadership & Texas Advocates for Justice are not service providers per se. We do, however, provide a safe and nurturing space where we can combine the teachings of the participatory defense model and the knowledge drawn from our lived experiences in pursuit of the most desirable outcome.
