John,

China is not a competitor, they are our opponent. President Trump recognized
this, and it's high time that the Biden Administration recognize it too. 
 
The scenes of container ships sitting idly off the coast of America are
sobering, and the American people are paying for it with higher prices at the
pump, at the grocery store, and nearly everywhere else. 
 
Something must be done, and I'm not waiting around — I introduced legislation
that would reduce our reliance on China and increase manufacturing here at
home.
