Yesterday I voted to hold Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress for violating a lawful subpoena by the Committee responsible for investigating January 6th.

This is about protecting our democracy and holding people accountable for breaking the law. People need to know that if you defy a subpoena to appear under oath and obstruct Congress from completing our oversight responsibilities, you will face consequences.

That goes for Steve Bannon and anyone else who tries to skirt the authority of Congress.
