A few months ago we reached out looking for your input about top concerns and organizing priorities in your community.
We wanted to circle back and share some of the things we think about as we talk to potential partners, based on your input. So, what did you say when we asked, “What type of organizing efforts do you think the Democratic party should invest in?”
- “Educating people that their vote does count.”
- “Environmental sustainability.”
- “Grassroots and reaching out to the disenfranchised”
- “Local small organizing”
- “Reaching out to rural areas to have conversations”
- “Voter Registration”
- “Voter protection and voting rights”
- “Registration.....GOTV”
These responses have been top-of-mind as we hold potential partner meetings and connect with activists on the ground. They have also shaped the type of work we are going to provide grants to in the near future.
If you agree with your fellow GWP supporters that educating, organizing, and registering voters in red states is important and should be a focus of our funding considerations, we are asking you to give now to our Grant Fund. This fund will specifically give our partner organizations resources they need on day one to start making an impact. Donate now.
Our team is so grateful for the incredibly thoughtful answers you all shared earlier this year, and we’re using ALL of your input.
