For months we’ve been reminding President Biden, Vice President Harris, Senate Majority Leader Schumer and Speaker Pelosi what they have promised to immigrants across the country. Yet, to date, no meaningful progress has taken place in Washington to ensure a pathway to citizenship for our communities. To ramp up the pressure, we’re staging a week-long series of actions across New York State to show we won’t back down when it comes to protecting our immigrant friends, family, and neighbors.

Our movement partners across the country are taking action in their states, as well as targeting VP Kamala Harris in Washington, D.C. In New York, we worked with our 200+ members and partnered with Make the Road NY and CPD Action to make certain that Senator Schumer hears our communities' voices and directly from his constituents. We’re here to remind him that he promised immigrants a path to citizenship, and we won’t let up until he delivers!

President Joe Biden ran his election campaign promising to reverse the legacy of Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda, but so far we haven’t seen enough of a break from the past.
