Patriot,
Over this past weekend, I attended my districts, Republican Lincoln Day Dinner. An event where hundreds of Republicans and elected officials gather each year – and this year, it was a BIG DEAL.
Here’s why:
This was the first event where my opponent, Do-Nothing Dan Webster and I were in the same room together.
I’ve been attending nearly every meeting that I can and have been greeted with smiles and encouragement every step of the way.
But the common theme of frustration I’m hearing is this:
“We’ve invited Webster [the incumbent congressman] to this event for YEARS and he NEVER shows up!”
From TEA Party events, county GOP meetings and critical votes in Congress – like the second Impeachment of President Trump -- the story is the same, Webster is ABSENT.
But I wasn’t surprised I saw him at this event, because now that I’ve jumped into the race, Webster is scrambling to prove himself.
Webster has had no problem missing 15% of his votes in Congress this year alone, but he has recently found time to attend and host fundraisers.
When there’s a big check to grab, Webster is there.
But the other night at the Lincoln Day Dinner, Webster wasn’t collecting checks because he ended up standing out like a sore thumb when the keynote speaker asked a simple question:
He asked the room, “Raise your hand if you think the 2020 election was stolen.”
Everyone in the room raised their hands . . . except Republican Congressman Dan Webster and his staffers who were sitting at his table.
Democrats rewrote the rules around the nation under the guise of the pandemic to stuff ballot boxes in their favor last year.
EVERYONE knows this.
Absentee ballots were mailed to voters around the country – in many states they were sent without even a request by the voter!
Then Democrats sent out their operatives to chase down every ballot – and several Democrat organizers were caught red handed getting paid for ballots!
And Do-Nothing Dan saw nothing wrong with that?
Of course not!
Because he won his seat without real opposition.
But in this next election, he’s facing me, and I take Election Integrity as seriously as a heart attack.
We don’t need politicians in office who ignore our real problems just because they had no problems winning their elections.
We need fighters!
And I’m ready to fight for you.
If you haven’t already done so, make a quick donation to my campaign and help me hit my weekly fundraising goal.
We have $4,200 left to raise by Sunday at midnight, so any amount you can give will help me get one step closer to my goal.
Thanks again for all that you do.
Respectfully,
Laura Loomer
