Friend --
Guns kill more than 100 Americans every day, and gun violence is on the rise across the country. We've seen an increase in mass shootings in the aftermath of the pandemic, and 2021 is shaping up to be one of the worst years for gun violence in decades.
But Republicans across the country want to roll back commonsense gun laws, like requiring background checks to buy a gun.
Add your name to demand action from the Senate to require background checks on every gun sale -- no loopholes.

The reality is that 90% of Americans support background checks on all gun sales -- including closing the "gun show loophole" that allows the sale of firearms to felons, domestic abusers, and others who have been explicitly prohibited from buying guns.
Yet Republican legislators across the country are fighting to roll back existing gun laws. And with the Conservative Supreme Court about to hear its first gun case in over a decade, now is the time to make your voice heard.
Take a stand against gun violence and call on the Senate to pass federal background check legislation.
As long as the toll of gun violence continues -- more than 100 Americans dead every day, more than twice that shot, and even more suffering from the lifelong impacts of gun violence -- we can't let up.
Thanks for joining us in this,
Team Schumer
