Phil Murphy for New Jersey

Friends,

I’m supporting my friend, Phil Murphy, in his reelection bid for New Jersey Governor — and I hope you’ll join me.

Over the past four years, Governor Murphy has been working tirelessly to address the climate crisis and create a more sustainable future for the Garden State.

Across the country, extreme weather events have become much more common. New Jerseyans don’t just know this — they’ve experienced it firsthand. Hurricanes are getting stronger, floods are becoming more frequent, and temperatures are rising dramatically.

As a result, countless communities have been devastated. And today, on the ninth anniversary of Hurricane Sandy making landfall, we’re all reminded how important it is to take action against the climate crisis.

That’s exactly what Governor Murphy has done, and it’s what he’ll do when he’s re-elected. He’s making New Jersey the national leader in offshore wind energy. Alongside First Lady Tammy Murphy, the Governor has instituted the nation’s first climate change curriculum. And he’s put New Jersey on a path toward a 100 percent clean energy future.

But with folks across the Garden State still recovering from Tropical Storm Ida, we can’t risk handing the governorship to someone like Jack Ciattarelli, a pro-Trump Republican who would roll back this important progress. In his own words, he thinks our progress is “too much, too soon, too fast.”

We need leaders who will address the climate crisis with the urgency it deserves, and we need to make sure Governor Murphy has the chance to keep moving New Jersey forward.

So friends, let’s show everyone what a clean energy future looks like. Please add your name next to mine to show your support for Governor Murphy and his work to confront the climate crisis >>
