Yesterday, during a hearing in front of our House Judiciary Committee, my extreme Republican colleagues seemed determined to prove exactly how dangerous they are to our country.
I was forced to confront Jim Jordan, the ranking Republican on the committee, for refusing to wear a mask. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz — charter members of the traitor caucus — also decided to show up maskless!
Then, Louie Gohmert decided to disgrace himself by comparing John Lewis’ non-violent sit-in in favor of gun control to the violent unpatriotic attempt on January 6th to overturn the 2020 election that left police officers dead.
Friend, with Republicans openly denying science and supporting efforts to overthrow democracy violently, the stakes have never been higher for the midterm elections than they are right now.
If we let Republicans take back the House, they could overturn the 2024 election even if Democrats win.
