I’m a lifelong Democrat, longstanding Wisconsin public servant, and a proud State Senator.
And today I’m announcing my campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives for Wisconsin’s 3rd District.
My mom taught me early on, “Brad you were given two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listen, twice as much as you speak.” And as your next Congressman, that’s what I promise to do -- even if we don’t agree on every issue.
But my opponent? Well, he was a part of the Capitol Riots on January 6th and then tried to lie to Wisconsinites about it.
We can’t let a person like that represent us in Congress. So I’m going to win this race the only way I know how: by going everywhere and talking with everyone. But I won’t kid myself. I know it’s going to be a tough race, so I need your help to build this campaign strong from day one.

I never expected to run for Congress.
I grew up on a dairy farm in rural La Crosse County where I learned what it’s like working the land for a living, and that getting something done takes honesty, decency, and hard work.
From a young age, I learned that when times are tough, you pull together as a family and as neighbors and you move forward.
Somewhere along the way, we have forgotten that lesson. We need to treat others with honesty and decency and remember that the people who might disagree with you around here aren’t your enemies, they’re your neighbors.
Good neighbors help each other mend fences, they don’t tear each other down. I’ll team up with anyone, of any party, who wants to get things done for our communities. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work.
