Hi friend,

COP26 is just around the corner, can you help make sure rich country governments get the message that debt justice is essential to dealing with the climate crisis? Here's our round-up of all the ways you can get involved.

Join the event: Global Day of Action – Saturday 6 November

Come join us for the Global Day of Action in Glasgow on 6th November! We’ll have placards, banners, and be joined by campaigners from around the world marching side by side to make sure the world knows, there can be NO CLIMATE JUSTICE WITHOUT DEBT JUSTICE.

And If you can’t make it to Glasgow, don’t worry – there are events happening up and down the country to get involved in ([link removed]) , including a big march in London.

Come to the petition hand-in: Thursday 28th October 9.30am, London

On the eve of the summit, we’ll be handing in the thousands of actions that you’ve been taking over the past few months. If you are in London and can join us, let us know by replying to this email. All welcome!

We’ll be calling on the government to:
* Give climate finance as grants, not loans, so that climate vulnerable countries do not have to go into more debt
* Cancel the debts of all countries that need it and make sure it doesn’t build up in the future so they can deal with the climate crisis
* Set up a fund for climate disasters, and when disaster hits, automatically suspend debts.
